Fluxbox and kdm

It took 2+ hours to figure this out, but here’s how to get kdm to run “startfluxbox” instead of “fluxbox” in order to get fluxbox to run your “~/.fluxbox/startup file: Edit
“/usr/share/apps/kdm/sessions/fluxbox.desktop” and “/usr/share/xsessions/fluxbox.desktop”,
changing each occurrance (2 I think) from “Exec=fluxbox” to “Exec=startfluxbox”. Then restart your fluxbox session via kdm. This will create a “~/.fluxbox/startup” file. Edit this file to your liking! Then enjoy fluxbox in your own virtual Micro$oft-free world!
