Speeding up NVidia video driver some more!

I ran across some more stuff for speeding up my video:

Modified /etc/X11/xorg.conf as follows:

1) added ‘Option “RenderAccel” “true”‘ to screens sction.
2) Commented out ‘Load “dri”‘ (NVidia does their own dri) (made moving Swiftfox popup windows faster/cleaner) (see http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-559912.html?sid=504cb98807c2ed022ae1efed861935c9)

NOTE: Seemed to work just as well, maybe slightly better w/o following, but am keeping for now:

Modified /etc/modprobe.d/nvidia as follows:

3) Added 2 lines (see http://members.westnet.com.au/rbirdman/fastwrites.html)
and do: cat /proc/driver/nvidia/agp/card
and do: cat /proc/driver/nvidia/agp/host-bridge

alias char-major-195 nvidia
options nvidia NVreg_EnableAGPFW=1

Run glxgears -printfps
and hit Enter to see frame-rates.
