Faster booting with dual-core processor

To get my D600 to boot faster, did following:

1) In /etc/init.d/rc:

Change"CONCURRENCY=none" to "CONCURRENCY=shell"

2)  After this system would hang instead of power down properly on power-down / reboot, so ended up doing after much t&e:

in /etc/rc0.d and /etc/rc6.d:

Rename K01splashy to K02splashy

This forces kdm to be shut down BEFORE splashy resumes!
